QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. or graduate degree in mechanical, materials science, or manufacturing engineering with 4+ years of hands-on polymer film manufacturing and process engineering expertise. Extensive experience and record of accomplishment with scaling film extrusion from the lab through pilot and commercialization phases. Strong analytical ability and familiarity with SPC and analytical software such as MiniTab. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall responsibility for leading the optimization and scaling of film extrusion and biaxial stretching operations. Ramping film manufacturing from pilot line to full manufacturing lines. Reporting on the progress of manufacturing operations in terms of productivity, yield, and quality, as well as the development of corrective action, and plans to meet aggressive world-class manufacturing and quality objectives.
